The smell of delicious food will fill the air at Heritage Park on Thursday, Sept. 18, as the Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the 11th annual “Taste of the South.”

The event will start at 5 p.m. and continue until 8 p.m. Tickets will be $10 for a taste of five samples, and will be available at the opening gate.

Taste of the South is a special event where local restaurants and cooks offer samples of some of their best dishes, and the tasters judge their favorites.

John Mascaro will provide live entertainment during the evening.

There will also be a TV showing the Auburn-Kansas State game.
