Mrs. Leola Morris Martin, 91, of Brewton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
She was born in Repton and had been a resident of Brewton for the past 60 years, coming from Excel. She was a homemaker and was a member of Alco Baptist Church.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Martin, and a daughter, Susan Martin Taormina.

She is survived by a son, Wayne Martin of Brewton; two daughters, Janie (Leon) Hamric of Robertsdale, and Jeanette “Jenny” Martin of Monroeville; five grandchildren, Amy Boutwell, Jill Ballard, Matthew Hamric, April Hamric and Jason Martin; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m. at Alco Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Fitts officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.

Visitation was held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
