Earnestine Riley

Mrs. Earnestine Riley, 78, of Atmore (Freemanville Community), caught the train to Glory land at 1:50 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at Atmore Community Hospital.

She was a native of Escambia County and had attended the Freemanville School. She was a housewife and homemaker who loved flowers and enjoyed quilting. Her church memberships over the years included Mt. Gillead Baptist Church and Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ.

Those left to embrace her loving memories are her husband, O. Z. Riley of Atmore; four daughters, Celia (Carl) Staples, Brenda (Theodis) Williams, Thelma Riley and Rayet (Rodney) Johnson all of Atmore; two sons, Authur Riley and Andre (Ingrid) Riley of Atmore; one brother, Robert Coleman of Atmore; one special granddaughter, Eboneek Staples of Atmore; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church (Freemanville) with Bishop Bernard Bishop, eulogist, and Elder Edgar McCarthy, host pastor.

Inhumation will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday, Nov. 7, from 2 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home, and her body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service, with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
