The city of Atmore publicly recognized the 2014 Escambia County High School volleyball team, after Monday’s city council meeting.

The Lady Devils won the Class 5A, Area 2, title, and advanced to the Super Regionals in Montgomery. They opened with a win against Shelby County, but fell to Faith Academy in the super regional championship, coming up just short of the state tournament.
