The Escambia Academy football team will be leaving the school Friday at noon, to head to Troy for the AISA Class AAA state championship game.

The public is invited to come out to EA to give them a huge cheering section and send-off. Those who cannot make it to EA are invited to stand by the road or businesses along U.S. Highway 31 and North Main Street in Atmore, to cheer the players on as they travel to Troy.

EA will play Bessemer Academy at 7 p.m. at Troy’s Veterans Memorial Stadium.
