Lady Devils split 2 games

The Escambia County High School Lady Devils basketball team split a pair of games they played last week.

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, ECHS won at Monroe County, by the score of 43-21. On Saturday, they lost 53-51 in a close defeat to visiting Baldwin County.

Against Monroe County, Jaquanda Webster led the Lady Devils with 14 points. Jade Adams added seven points.
In the loss to Baldwin County, ECHS trailed by 10 points at the end of the third quarter, but battled back to make it a game late. A potential game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer just missed.

Nicole Johnson had 24 points to lead ECHS (4-2).
The Lady Devils will participate in the Escambia County basketball tournament later this week, at T.R. Miller High School in Brewton.
