The Atmore Public Library was recently awarded a Library Services and Technology Act grant, through the Alabama Public Library Service.

Funding was used to purchase books and four iPads for youth in our community.

For the past two years, the library has provided after-school literacy classes for students in our area. The iPads and books will be used in these classes, as well as other programs the library offers to the public.
