The Escambia County High School Blue Devils broke a five-game losing streak on Friday night, defeating visiting Jackson by the score of 73-53.

ECHS coach Terrence Walker said that the team benefited by getting back in its regular practice routine.

“The difference was being able to have more practice time with school starting back again,” he said. “We did not have enough practice time through the break.”
