Ruth Lillian Ramsey Allen, 90, of Kernersville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 13, 2015.

A native of Atmore, Ruth was the daughter of the late Lillian Coyle and Hugh Lively Ramsey. She was married to the late Oliver Edwin Allen.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Alice, Roberta and Jane.

She will be interred beside her beloved husband, in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons, Hugh Allen and Jean of Kernersville and Phil Allen and Sharyn of Jackson, Miss.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sister Helen Lumpkin, who still resides in Atmore.
