Mr. Alvin Carter Gray, 66, of Atmore, died recently in Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. Gray was a native of Atmore and a retired employee of General Electric Company. He was a 1967 graduate of Escambia County Training School.

He enjoyed playing pool, traveling, and was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Yankees.
He is survived by a loving family.

The Celebration of Life service was held on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 1 p.m. at New Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with Bishop Dashwood Riley, eulogist, and the Rev. Harold Askew, host pastor. Inhumation was in Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
