CSX is currently upgrading/repairing the railroad crossings within the city limits of Atmore, according to information from the Atmore Police Department.

These closures will be as brief as possible and will reopen as soon as repairs are complete. The following crossings are closed as of Wednesday afternoon: Industrial Drive, Swift Street, Wilson Avenue, Trammell Street, Presley Street and Martin Luther King Drive.

The Main Street and Nashville Avenue crossing, along with 2nd Ave, are slated for Wednesday, Feb. 18, if all other crossing repairs have been completed.
