Charles K. Paul

Charles K. Paul, 73, of Bay Minette, passed away Friday Feb. 13, 2015, in Bay Minette.

He was a retired police officer from the University of South Alabama, born in Escambia County, on June 29, 1941, to the late Robert T. and Ethel Minchew Paul.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs.Walter M. Paul of Bay Minette; four sons, Michael W. (Ellie) Paul of Knoxville, Tenn., Curtis R. Paul of Saraland, Shannon (Misty) Priest of Bay Minette and Eddie Priest of Bay Minette; one daughter, Sabine I. Strader of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Grady L. (Barbara) Paul and Lee (Margaret) Paul; one sister, Ruby Louise Sandspre and four grandchildren, Justin Paul, Casey Paul, Nicole Priest and Tyler Priest.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, with Army chaplain Everett Franklin officiating. Interment followed in Godwin Cemetery with full military honors.

The family received friends, Sunday Feb. 15, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, from 1 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of all arrangements.
