Mr. Louis Parker Jr., 57, of Atmore, exchanged his earthly life for a life eternal recently at his residence.

Born in Atmore, the son of the late Louis Sr. and Narvell Parker, he was a graduate of Escambia County High School and Alabama State University. He earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. He had worked in Mississippi as an electrician. He was a member of Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several of his family members.

His life shall be remembered by his uncles, Joseph (Lula) Parker of Detroit, Mich., and Bobby Earl (Ida Mary) Frye of Atmore; his aunts, Lucille Parker of New York City, N.Y., and Ida Frye of Atmore and several cousins.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 13, at11 a.m. at the Longmire/Jones Memorial Chapel of Turner Funeral Chapel, 83 Westbrook Lane in Atmore, with the Rev. Sidney Grant, pastor of New Order Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.

Inhumation was private in the Parker Family Plot in Stallworth Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC, directing.
