The American Legion Post 90 heard from nine likely future leaders at their Tuesday, June 30, meeting.

The meeting celebrated the 12 high school seniors who recently attended Boys and Girls State. Boys and Girls State allow for young people to learn about government and leadership skills, while spending several days at a major university. The students are given the opportunity to run for office in a mock setting, learning how different levels of government work.

Nine of the students attended the June 30 meeting, and told the Legion members about their experiences and lessons.
