The weekly event will bring various food trucks to the area to promote economic development in Atmore. FTM is the first outreach effort of the Church Street Incubator. The incubator is located in the former Jerry’s Hardware and is partnered in a public/private partnership between the bank, local government, utilities and other providers designed to attract small business and spark job creation in Atmore.

“We are excited to be able to showcase Atmore to small businesses who have indicated a desire to potentially open a permanent location in our area,” United Bank President and CEO Bob Jones said. “We appreciate the city’s support for this effort, and for our larger incubator effort, to encourage economic development and job growth in our town.”

Food Truck Mondays will feature a single food truck on site at Innovation Alley from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Innovation Alley is the nickname for the space between the bank’s main office and the incubator building on Church Street.

The food truck scheduled dates are:

• Unique Streat Eatz – August 31

• Labor Day Off

• Ben’s Burga Kaboose – Sept. 14

• Vons Food Truck – Sept. 21

Additional vendors to be scheduled include Dick Russell’s Bar-B-Q and Conecuh Charlie’s, among others.
