Timothy “Gooley” Monroe Hayes

Timothy “Gooley” Monroe Hayes Jr., 22, of Atmore, passed away on Nov. 8, 2015.

He was born in Atmore on Sept. 6, 1993. He was employed with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home and was an avid Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hybert Hayes, Agnes and Sidney Lynam and Dot Harrleson; and his uncles and one aunt, Eddie Burkett, John Lynam, Lee Lynam and Brenda Brown. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Madison Monroe Hayes; his father, Timothy Hayes Sr.; his mother and stepfather, Brandy Lynam and James Marlon Smith Jr.; one sister, Tiffany Smith; three brothers, James III, John and Jake Smith, all of Atmore; grandparents, Betty Reid of Monroeville and grandfather, James Harrleson of Atmore; his stepchildren, Emma Rone and Brayden “Bubba” Weaver; girlfriend, Christine Weaver; aunts and uncles, Charlene Lynam, Diane Hadley, Tammy McKenzie, Joyce (Glen) McLwain, Janet Burkett, Jenette (Russell) McGhee, Shonda (Eric) Strehl, Angela (Roy) Mosely, Janice (Don) Styron, Jerry (Kim) Smith, Donnie Smith; and a special uncle, Skeeter Crochet; his best friend, Billy Gee; special cousins, Mike (Jesse) McKenzie, Keith Brown, Stephen (Dana) McKenzie, Ashley McKenzie and Rachel (Shaun) Ward; godparents, Angela “Noo Noo” and Marty White; and many more cousins, aunts and uncles that he loved very much.

Funeral services were held on Thurs., Nov. 12, 2015, from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Fails and Bro. Donnie Wasdin serving as officiates. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were James “Lil Man” Smith, Stephen McKenzie, Michael McKenzie, Nathan Powell, Terrell Boutwell, Billy Griffis, Justin McGhee and Rudy Lynam. Honorary pallbearers were Shaun Ward, Dillian Johnson, Shane Ward, Keith Brown and Daniel Silvers.

Visitation was held on Nov. 11 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pollie A. Clark

Pollie A. Clark of Atmore, died on Sat. Nov. 4, 2015, at her residence.

Services will be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel LLC.
