UPDATE: Interstate 65 southbound has been reopened, according to ALEA.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, troopers are on the scene of a tractor trailer crash on Interstate 65 southbound at the 51 mile marker in Escambia County.

The road will be closed for approximately one hour.

ALDOT is currently on scene and is detouring traffic onto Highway 21.
