An Atmore man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in the Freemanville Community, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Sgt. Derek R. Gessner said that Timmy Joe Sprinkle, 32, of Atmore, and Susan M. Moore, 63, of Hollywood, Fla., were killed when then 2005 Ford Focus Sprinkle was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

“Sprinkle and Moore were not using seatbelts and were pronounced dead at the scene,” Gessner said in a release. “The crash occurred on Dailey Road, 4 miles north of Atmore, in the Freemanville Community.”

No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
