Blue Devils travel to UMS-Wright

The Escambia County Blue Devils have been a surprise two weeks into the 2010 season as they have opened up with a 2-0 record under first-year head coach Mark Heaton.
The Blue Devils have also been able to open up region play with a 1-0 record after cruising to an impressive 43-15 win over the B.C. Rain Red Raiders last Friday night.
ECHS ‘83 champions to be honored at Sept. 17 game

A storied team will return to Herbert Barnes Stadium on Sept. 17 when the Escambia County Blue Devils face off against the W.S. Neal Blue Eagles.
At halftime of the game, players, cheerleaders and managers from the 1983 state championship team will be recognized for their accomplishments.

Despite a sluggish first half, the Escambia County Blue Devils cranked it up in the second half to score 28 unanswered points and claim a region win over B.C. Rain 43-15 Friday night at Herbert Barnes Stadium.
