Mr. Jerry Randall Bonds, 47, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999.
Mr. Bonds had been a resident of McDavid for the past 37 years, was a member of Century United Methodist Church and an employee of Air Products. He was preceded in death by his father, Malcom D. Bonds.
Mr. Bonds is survived by his mother, Lucille Bonds of McDavid; two daughters, Abbi Bonds and Ashley Bonds, both of Pace; a brother, Larry Bonds and his wife JoAnne of Atmore; three sisters, Dianne Campbell and her husband Coy of Molino, Sue Hassen of McDavid, and Terry Taliancich and her husband Tony of Centreville, Va. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. at Century United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Lee officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery.
Ms. Betty Hendrix, 63, of Jay, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, in Baptist Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Jay and was a member of Dixonville R.L.D.S. Church.
Ms. Hendrix is survived by three sons, Zeary Allen "Rusty" Pitman of Munsun, Fla., and Paul Aubrey Cloud and James Charles Cloud, both of Milton; a daughter, Cynthia Greenwell of Century; a brother, James Phillip "Jamie" Slawson of Jay; a sister, Frances Rochelle Hodge of Jay; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. at Dixonville R.L.D.S. Church with Seventy James Ernie Calhoun and Elder John Calhoun officiating. Burial was at Dixonville R.L.D.S. Church Ceme-tery.
Pallbearers were James Ryan Slawson, Melvin McCurdy, Jim Underwood, David McCurdy, Richard Williams and William Thompson.Jay Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Aurelia "Irene" King, 88, of Atmore died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at Magnolia Nursing Home in Pensa-cola. Mrs. King was a native of Camden and was a member of Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church and the Senior Choir.
Mrs. King is survived by five daughters, Margaret Toms of New York City, N.Y., Mary Mitchell of Bronx, N.Y., Annette McMillan of Jamaica, N.Y., Gloria Parker of Inkster, Mich., and Minnie Kate Pruitt of Atmore; four sons, Henry Freeman of Hempstead, N.Y., Charles King, L.K. King and Jerry King, all of Atmore; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 1 to 8:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Dr. A.L. Durant officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sallie Mae Stafford, 92, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, in Atmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Howard Stafford; a daughter, Shirley Elaine Stafford; two sons, Carl Ikner and Don Stafford; and one grandson, Chris Stafford.
Mrs. Stafford is survived by four sons, Boyce Ikner of Louisville, Ky., William Howard Stafford and Billy Ray Stafford, both of Atmore, and Julian Robert Stafford of Frisco City; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Harrison officiating. Burial was at Semirah Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Julius Stewart, Scooter Stafford, Eric Stafford, Shane Stafford, David Stafford and Billy Ikner.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
