More than 150 youngsters took the field Saturday for the opening day of T-ball season at Johnny Woods Memorial Park.
Mayor Rodney Owens helped start the day with a speech during opening ceremonies. Alana Johnson of the Ringers then hit the first ball off the tee, and Clayton Vickrey of the Cougars received it.
