Mr. Donnie Joe Gipson, 45, died Friday, July 21, 2000, in Pensacola. Mr. Gipson was a native of Paris County, Texas and a resident of Walnut Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthie Cooper Gipson of Walnut Hill; his mother, Helen Anderson of Walnut Hill; his grandmother, Emmas Reed of Walnut Hill; a son, Dylan Parker of Walnut Hill; a brother, Robert Jessie Gipson of Atmore and three sisters, Brenda Lee Godwin of Little River, Debbie Maples of Frisco City and Shana Ruth Ellis of Brewton.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 23 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral servces will be held Monday, July 24 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Chandler officiating.
Burial will be at Serenity Gardens.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
