Mr. Wilton Tyree, 90, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, in Lakeland, Fla.
Mr. Tyree was a native of Semirah Springs and a resident of Lakeland. He was self-employed in the pulp-wood business.
Mr. Tyree is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Waters Tyree of Lakeland; three sons, Billy Ray Tyree and Bobby Leroy Tyree, both of Atmore and Barney Eugene Tyree of Range, Ala.; three daughters, Rachel Stewart of Rabon, Hazel Lee Boss of Jacksonville, Fla. and Shirley Jean Sexton of Lakeland; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 21 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Woody Allison officiating.
Burial was at Dean Cemetery in Rabon.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
