Many times local politics present some interesting scenarios.
The Atmore Chamber of Commerce, The Atmore Advance and the Leadership Atmore Class of 2000 are creating an interesting scenario for Atmore voters.
On Tuesday, August 15, voters are invited to an open forum where local candidates will answer questions from voters. The forum will be held at the Atmore Lions Community Center beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The forum is designed to give each candidate the opportunity to answer questions.
Castleberry said no questions will be taken from the floor during the forum.
Voters who cannot attend the event can listen to WYDH which will broadcast live from the Lions Community Center.
The Leadership Atmore Class of 2000 will serve free hot dogs and drinks for both candidates and voters attending the event.
