Mr. Samuel L. Bass, 66, of Walnut Hill died Tuesday, August 1, 2000 at his residence.
He was employed by Petroleum Engineering.
He is preceded in death by his parnets, Samuel Bass and Jessie Garner Bass; a son Lee Samuel Bass, and three brothers, Geroge Bass, David Bass, and Tommy Bass.
He is survivored by his wife, Sheila Meadows Bass of Walnut Hill; a son , Alford Bass of Lafayette, La; a step-son, Wade Williams of Walnut Hill; a step-daughter, Wendy Williams Lohr of Walnut Hill; a sister, Lauren Bass of Beaumont, Texas; 5 grandchildren Bailey Lohr and Tiffaney Herrington both of Walnut Hill; Micheal Cotton of Lafayette and Christinia Bass and Erica Bass, both of New Iberia, La.
Memorial services were held Saturday August 05 at 1 p.m. at Martin &Castile Funeral Home in Lafayette
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
