Mary (Sugie) Boutwell Hammac

Mrs. Mary (Sugie) Boutwell Hammac, 82, died Monday, August 28, 2000, at a Mobile hospital.
Mrs. Hammac was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Mobile for many years. She was of the Holiness faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hartley and Mattie Boutwell; four sisters, Callie B. Lambeth, Addie B. Walsh, Jessie B. Lambeth and Flora B. Hammac and two brothers, Connie J. Boutwell and John Sidney Boutwell.
Mrs. Hammac is survived by three sons, Houston M. Hammac and his wife, Marie, of Huntsville, Robert S. Hammac and his wife, Marie, of Mobile and Jack Hammac and his wife, Frankie, of Miss.; a sister, Grace Boutwell Ashbee of Mobile; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30 at 10 a.m. at Lambeth Holiness Church in Flomaton with Pastor Jimmy McDuffie officiating.
Burial will be at Boutwell Lambeth Cemetery.
Active pall bearers will be Wayne Ashbee, Sidney Boutwell, Mike Boutwell, Terry Boutwell, Andy Boutwell and Tony Boutwell. Honorary pall bearers will be Beecham Boutwell, Connie Boutwell Jr., Micky Boutwell, Billy Joe Knowles, Bill Smith and Travis Booker.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
