John C. Kendrick

Mr. John C. Kendrick, 94, died Monday, September 25, 2000.
He was a native of Robertsdale and resident of Atmore for the past 28 years. He was a member of West End Baptist Church and worked at a ship yard.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Robert Kendrick.
Mr. Kendrick is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lila Kendrick of Atmore; six sons, Mr. John Carlton Kendrick of Bay Minette, Mr. Charles Kendrick of Mobile and Mr. Calvin Kendrick, Mr. Melton Kendrick and Mr. David Wayne Kendrick, all of Atmore; six daughters, Mrs. Ruby Faye Owens of Silver Hill, Ala., Mrs. Mary Lou Pizzotti of Fairhope, Mrs. Annie Lou Nelson of Daphne, Mrs. Billye Ann Kendrick of Perdido and Mrs. Jannette Seals and Mrs. Carol Ann Melvin, both of Atmore; a brother, Mr. Woodrow Robert Kendrick of Mobile; 28 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 28 at 2 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Carl Addison officiating.
Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Mr. Michael Kendrick, Mr. Frank Owens, Mr. Anthony Pizzotti Jr., Mr. Wayland Nelson, Mr. Tony Seals Jr. and Mr. Robert Gene Kendrick.
Honorary pallbearers were Mr. Travis Wayne Kendrick, Mr. Shannon Kendrick and Mr. Howard Kracker.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
