If the Escambia Academy Cougars are to make it three wins in a row this week, they will have to stop the passing attack of South Montgomery Christian Academy. SMCA enters the game with an 8-1 record.
The Cougars will face one of AISA's most proficient quarterbacks. John Andrews, SMCA quarterback, is 87 of 122 passing for the season and has thrown for 1,444 yards.
The Cougar defense seems to be coming together just at the right time. Defensively the Cougars have shut out their last two opponents and has maintained a strong effort for the duration of both games.
The game with South Montgomery is an area game and will conclude the Cougar season.
The game will be played in Montgomery. Game time is 7 p.m.
