To the editor:
As superintendent of the Escambia County School System, I would like to extend a special thank you to all of the citizens of Atmore who went to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 14 and voted in favor of renewing the ad valorem tax.
This tax has been invaluable to our school system for the past forty years.
I assure you that we will continue to use these funds wisely as we select programs and services that we believe to be beneficial to the students of Atmore.
