Thomas Farrell Philyaw, 54, died Thursday, November 30, 2000, in Perdido.
He was a life long resident of Perdido, a hunter and fisherman and employed at Friese Sand and Gravel Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Philyaw and a sister, Grace Rivers.
Mr. Philyaw is survived by his mother, Louise Philyaw of atmore; his former wife, Patricia Philyaw of Atmore; two sons, Clinton Earl Philyaw and Timmy Wayne Philyaw, both of Atmore; a daughter, Ann (Sweetpea) Philyaw of Atmore and four brothers, William Philyaw of Perdido and Daniel Philyaw, Joe Edward Philyaw and Alvin Philyaw, all of Atmore.
Visitation will be Friday, December 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9 at 2 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel with the Rev. William Rolin officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be David Godwin, Terry Godwin, Ron Phillips, Wayne Martin, Radio Rolin and Ben Andrews. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Andrews, Wayne Rolin, Melvin Rolin, Ronnie Rolin, David Sells and Terry Martin.
Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
