Mrs. Elisabeth Cole Lambert McCaskey, 74, died Friday, December 29, 2000, in Atmore.
Mrs. McCaskey was a native of Eliska and a resident of Atmore since 1963. She was a member of Robinsonville Baptist Church as well as past treasurer. She was also a pink lady at Atmore Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glover O'Neal Lambert. Sr. and Arden Kenneth McCaskey.
She is survived by a son, Neal Lambert of Birmingham; a daughter, Beth Lambert Smith of Atmore; three sisters, Lily B. English of Camden, Ann Byrd of Monroeville and Dot Hendrix of Atmore and two grandchildren, Robert Zarahn, Jr. and Cole Zarahn, both of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 31 at 2:30 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Rhett Ellis and Dr. Dewitt Allen officiating.
Burial followed at Robinsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Bill Hendrix, Robert Hendrix, Burt Hendrix, Jack Darby, Ricky Fore and Tony Lieb.
Honorary pallbearers were the Ladies Sunday School class of Robinsonville Baptist Church.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
