To the editor:
To everyone in Flomaton and all the surrounding areas, we wish to thank you with all our hearts. Times have been rough, and through it all, we have felt your presence and your prayers. Believe me when I say we could not have gotten through this, and still cannot get through this, without those prayers.
Randy may or may not have much longer to be with us, but whatever is in God's plans, we will accept and give Him the glory.
Randy's wishes are to be cremated and we will honor those wishes. Due to this, we will be having a memorial service only. We ask that no flowers be sent. Instead, if you want to send a memorial gift in Randy's name, please do so. So many have helped financially, we want to help others who are or will be in need. Please send your gift to one of the following: First Baptist Church of Flomaton, Flomaton Fire Department, Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in Andalusia, or the Cancer Foundation, or maybe you know of another place that helps people in need, like Salvation Army or Red Cross. We want living people to be helped and taken care of when they need help.
Randy is resting comfortably right now. We are doing whatever it takes to keep him out of pain. Oh yes, forgive me, I almost forgot to mention Community Hospice out of Monroeville that are really helping the most to keep him comfortable. We most certainly could not do without them. Remember them when you are considering a gift.
Please don't think us presumptuous in writing this ahead of time. But, we want to cover everything we can ahead and be as prepared as we can be. It will make it a little easier not to have to think of things like this.
There are so many precious wonderful people who are special to us, but we won't start on names because we would surely leave someone out, but you know who you are and so do we.
Keep praying and we will keep receiving strength from you and grace from Jesus Christ.
The family of Randy Freeman
