Mrs. Agnes M. Stacey, 81, of Foley, died Friday, January 19, 2001, in Douglasville, Ga.
She was a native of Atmore and she and her husband owned and operated motels in Pensacola and Ft. Walton until their retirement in 1975.
She is survived by her husband, W. R. Stacey of Foley; a son, James Stacey of Foley; two daughters, Mary Hilmer of Dawsonville, Ga. and Deborah Steeley of Ft. Payne, Fla.; three sisters, Grace Hovell of Pensacola and Gladys Middleton and Edna Barrentine, both of Atmore and two brothers, Cecil Martin of Boca Raton, Fla. and Carlton Martin of Orange Beach.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 24 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
