Mrs. Lunnie Mae McGhee, 90, of Atmore, died Sunday, February 18, 2001 in Atmore after a lengthy illness.
She as a resident of Atmore for her lifetime and a member of Poarch Community Church, Born on July 30,1910 to the Late .
Mrs. McGhee is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Molly Rolin Presley; her husband, D.M. McGhee; a brother, J.D. Presley; a sister, Elba McGhee; two daughters: Hattie Mae McGhee and Frances Robbins; a son, Clifton McGhee; three sons-in-law, Howard McGhee, Billy D. Robbins and Robert Stacey; a great-granddaughter, Ashkia Williams and a great-grandson, Paul Martin.
Mrs. McGhee is survived by a son, John A. McGhee and his wife, Bernice, of Atmore; three daughters, Marie Martin and her husband, Otha, Julia Ann Stacy, and Ellen Maxine Dunkin, all of Atmore; a sister Mrs. Hattie Lou Morris of Poarch; 25 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 20 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Smith officiating.
Burial was at Judson Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
