Mrs. Brunetta Williams, 92, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001, in Atmore Nursing Care Center.
She was a native of Monroe County and a resident of Atmore for the past 41 years. She was a member of Mt. Gillard Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Burle (J. B. ) Williams and a daughter, Earthell Williams.
Mrs. Williams is survived by a daughter, Voncile McQuenn of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sons, Alex O'Neal Williams and his wife, Mary, of Stone Mountain, Ga, David Williams of Rivera Beach, Fla. and Gilbert Williams and his wife, Helen, of Jonesburg, Ga.; two granddaughters, Hazel WIlliams and Karleen Williams; six grandsons, Quincy McQueen, Gilbert Williams Jr., Greg Williams, Edward Pennington, Lloyd Pennington and Kenneth Pennington and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gillard Baptist Church with Pastor Alfonzia Williams Sr. officiating.
Burial was at Rabb Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Deacons and honorary pallbearers were her sons and grandsons.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
