Mr. Charles Edward (C. J.) Stabler Jr., 16, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in Uriah.
He was a resident of Uriah and a farmer with House Farms in Uriah. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and L. A. Trail Riders.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Stabler, a grandfather, Carson House Jr. and grandparents, Evelyn and Charlie Mack Stabler.
Mr. Stabler is survived by his grandmother, Ella Faire House of Uriah; his mother and step-father, Judy House Rodenberry and Jimmy Rodenberry of Uriah and two sisters, Brande Reed and Tanya Stabler, both of Poarch.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Grindle and the Rev. Bob Gibson officiating.
Burial was at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Monroe Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
