Mr. James Howard Wasdin, 54, of Atmore died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in Atmore.
He was born in Atmore and was a retired lieutenant with the Department of Corrections with the State of Alabama. Was a member of American Legion in Brewton and a member of the Mason Lodge in Atmore.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Monroe Wasdin.
Mr. Wasdin is survived by his mother, Barbara Daniels Wasdin of Pensacola; a son, Dion Wasdin and his wife Carrie of Huxford,' a daughter Channon Clanton and her husband, Barry of Panama City; five grandchildren; Hunter Wasdin, Brittany Wasdin, James Howard Wasdin II, Devin Clanton and Cameron Clanton. Several uncles, Murray Daniels and wife, Dot, J.C.Daniels and his wife, Alice, and Howard Daniels. Many special cousins and friends. Close friends Darlene and Robert Johnson of Pensacola, Fl
Services will be Friday, March 23 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Daniels officiating,
Burial was at Huxford Baptist Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Retired Alabama Dept. of Correctional Emergency Response Team.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, lnc is in charge of arrangements.
