Mr. James Edward Nipper Sr., 76, of Uriah died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Monroe County Hospital.
Mr. Nipper was a native of Ashburn, Ga. but had been a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He was a forester.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Turner Nipper of Uriah; three sons, Johnny Bill Nipper and his wife, Barbara, and Robert Alan Nipper and his wife, Teresa, all of Frisco City and James E. Nipper Jr. and his wife, Teresa, of Uriah; two daughters: Rebecca Nipper Blanks of Uriah and Deborah Neuhauser and her husband, John Mark, of Navarre Beach; a sister, Maudine Hill of Brunswick, Ga.; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild and one god son, James Logan Iver.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at Uriah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jessie Lough and Rev. Jessie Joyner officiating.
Burial will be immediately following at Uriah Cemetery.
Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
