Louise Brown Caraway

Mrs. Louise Brown Caraway, 80, died Friday, March 30, 2001, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Caraway was a native of Wedowee and had lived in McDavid for the past 55 years. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Brown.
Mrs. Caraway is survived by her husband, J. B. Caraway of McDavid; a son, Winston Brown and his wife, Doris, of McDavid; two brothers, George Word of McDavid and Harlis Word of Bon Secour; a sister, Evelyn Irvin of Woodville, Texas; four grandchildren, Tony Brown, Steve Brown, Mike Brown and Tammy Campbell and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Elder Harold Brown officiating.
Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Caraway, Douglas Caraway, Billy Smith, John Malone, Russell Black and Charlie Brown.
Flomaton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
