Mr. Dee Flowers, 86, died Friday, May 18, 2001, in Walnut Hill.
Mr. Flowers was a native of Phillipsville, and a resident of Walnut Hill for the past 33 years. He attended and was the groundskeeper for the New Life Fellowship Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Flowers and a stepdaughter, Pauline Bodie.
Mr. Flowers is survived by his wife, Ruby Flowers of Walnut Hill; two stepsons, the Rev. Milledge Baker of Walnut Hill and Jerail Baker of Atmore; two daughters, Jennifer Croft of McAlpin, Fla. and Judy Sue Miller of Noma, Fla.; two step-daughters, Peggy Smith of Uriah and Frances Herndon of Huston, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 21, at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Todd Bush officiating
Burial followed at Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Gano, Bill Gerdeman, Jeff Godwin, Bob McCullough, Ervin Thortis and Anthony Lamp.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
