Mr. Alvie Wilson Odom, 86, of Mobile died Monday, May 28, 2001, in Mobile.
He was a former resident of Atmore and a retired electrician. He was a member of United Methodist Church.
Mr. Odom was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Jackson and Mary Ann Simmons Odom.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Pugh Odom of Mobile; two daughters, Nancy Wertz of Houston, Texas and Janet Frazier of Mobile; three grandchildren, Lee Wertz of Houston, Texas, Heather Catlow of Indianapolis, Ind. and Melanie Sigler of Mobile; four great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Trent officiating.
Burial will be at Serenity Gardens.
Family will receive friends Thursday, June 1 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m.
