Mr. John Lawrence Moore, 72, of Atmore died Monday, May 28, 2001, at his residence.
He was a native of Escambia County and owner of Moore Trucking Co.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Laura R. Moore of Atmore; a son, Johnny Moore and his wife, Pat, of Cantonment; a daughter, Susan Terry and her husband, Joe, of Atmore; a brother, Charles Bates Moore Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four grandchildren, Chris Terry and his wife, Kaye and Ross Terry, all of Atmore, and Tracy Moore and Stacy Nesham and her husband, Steve, all of Pensacola and a great-granddaughter, Grace Terry of Atmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Dukes officiating.
Burial will be at Judson Baptist Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
