Pepsi earns consecutive wins

Pepsi's Chris Graham and Steven Shirley combined to hold Greenlawn to only one run while striking out ten batters in an 8-1 victory in Atmore's Babe Ruth League on May 15.
Chris Andrews led off the game with a triple for Greenlawn and then scored on a base hit by Devin King. Greenlawn was unable to score through the remainder of the game.
John Flowers scored in the first to tie the game for Pepsi. Thaddeus Richardson scored two runs to lead Pepsi while J.R. Hall, Miller McCaster, Ray James and Ronnie Pettway also scored in the game.
Graham pitched four innings and was relieved by Shirley who threw two innings.
Kevin Adair and Owen Moore pitched for Greenlawn.
Frontier 5, Apple Barrell 2
Frontier outlasted Apple Barrell, 5-2, on May 15.
Robert Hardy led the Frontier offense with two runs, one of which came on an inside-the-park homerun. Franklin Boykin, Josh Morgan and Oliver Petty also scored.
Derek Martin and Brannon Sanspree scored the only two runs for Apple Barrell.
Morgan and Jeremy McNeil pitched for Frontier.
Jordan Drew and Brian Strawbridge were the pitchers for Apple Barrell.
Huddle House 12, Frontier 5
Huddle House held hot bats on May 17 as they defeated Frontier, 12-5.
Leading the offense for Huddle House was Craig Montel who scored three runs with a walk, double and triple. Don Alexander and Michael Rolin scored two runs each and while Trevor Daughtry, Tyler Wilkins, Bruce Smith and Charles Daily rounded out the scoring.
Boykin, Chris Moore, Robert Hardy, McNeil and Morgan accounted for Frontier's runs.
Huddle House used Montel, Alexander and Daughtry on the mound.
McNeil and Morgan pitched for Frontier.
Apple Barrell 10, Greenlawn 9
Apple Barrell scored a run in the bottom of the sixth to edge past Greenlawn, 10-9 on May 17.
Brian Strawbridge, Norris Brooks and Nick McGhee led the Apple Barrell offense with two runs each. Derek Martin, Michael Harrison, Jordan Drew and Leslie Crueit also scored. Martin and Norris both hit inside-the-park homeruns.
Owen Moore and Matt Amerson led Greenlawn with two runs each. Kevin Adair, Clay Cummings, Cedric Sharp, Trent Flowers and Devin King also scored.
Apple Barrell used Martin, Drew and Strawbridge on the mound.
Amerson and Adair pitched for Greenlawn.
Pepsi 8, Apple Barrell 7
Pepsi fell to an early deficit against Apple Barrell but came back with four runs in the final inning to earn an 8-7 victory on May 18.
Graham and Richardson led Pepsi with three runs each, including the tying and go-ahead runs, respectively. Shirley and J.R. Hall scored Pepsi's other two runs n both in the seventh.
Derek Martin helped Apple Barrell to an early lead by scoring in both the first and second innings. Strawbridge, Harrison, Adam Barron and Devin Rodriguez also scored.
Pettway, Graham and Shirley combined on the mound for Pepsi.
Drew, Sanspree and Strawbridge pitched for Apple Barrell.
