Mr. William J. Langley, 76, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Walnut Hill.
He was a native of Chance and resident of Walnut Hill for 14 years. He was retired from civil service, a veteran on WW II and attended Pine Barren Baptist Church.
Mr. Langley is survived by two brothers, Walter L. Langley of Atmore and Tommy J. Langley of Dearing, Ga.; a sister, Flossie Hadley of Perdido; three children and many friends, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Rice and the Rev. Michael Poston officiating.
Burial followed at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.
