Mr. Ervin Lee, 78, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a retired forklift operator with Monsanto Chemical Company.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Lee; his parents, Willie and Lula Lee and two sisters, Odessa Johnson and Mamie Lyons.
Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Annie Melvin Lee of Atmore; four daughters, Dorothy Marshall and her husband, Willie, Earnestine Barron and her husband, Willie, Annette Lee and Cindy Lee, all of Atmore; three sons, Ervin Lee Jr. and his wife, Danice, of Rock Island, Ill.; Rodderick Lee and his wife, Stephanie, and Alvin Johnson Lee, all of Atmore; four sisters, Maybell Robinson, Dorothy McMillan and her husband, George, and Lula Knight and her husband, Leroy, all of Atmore and Voncille Lee of Clearwater, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2 at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Askew officiating.
Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were friends of the family.
Turner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
