Silver Eagles edge Mystics

The United Bank Silver Eagles took an early lead and then held off a rally to score a 10-9 victory over the Masland Carpet Mystics on May 28.
The Silver Eagles notched six runs in the first inning while the Mystics scored five in the third.
Kim Holland led the Silver Eagle offense with three runs. Crystal Rolin and Kayla Presley each scored two runs. Renee Simpson, Kelly Holland and Katie Smith also scored.
Leading the Mystics was Anushka Bonds with three runs. Sandy Booth scored two runs while Courtney Patrick, Elisabeth Hendrix, Leslie Lyons and Brittany Powers each scored one run.
Rolin and Presley combined on the mound for the Silver Eagles.
Stacey Gibbs pitched for the Mystics.
Bombers 24, Silver Eagles 1
The Church's Chicken Bombers scored 24 runs in three innings to blow away the United Bank Silver Eagles 24-1 on May 31.
The Bombers entire lineup scored at least two runs in the game. Kayla Morgan and Heather White led the team with four runs. Lori Bonds, Melissa Moore, Rachel Ellis, Janay Baltes, Brooke Bell, Danailla Green, Krystie Rolin and Hannah Jones each scored two runs.
Kim Holland scored the Silver Eagles' only run
Bonds picked up the victory on the mound for the Bombers.
Bombers 8, Sluggers 7
The South Alabama Vending Sluggers had the bases loaded in the final inning but were unable to get them home as they became another victim of the Church's Chicken Bombers, 8-7, on May 28.
Leading the Bombers were Brooke Bell and Kayla Morgan with two runs each. Heather White, Melissa Moore, Rachel Ellis and Janay Baltes also scored.
Megan Day, Miranda McKinley and Jaime Drew each scored two runs for the the Sluggers. Ashley Brazzell also scored.
Lori Bonds picked up another win as the Bombers' pitcher.
Drew pitched a complete game for the Sluggers.
Mystics 6, Sluggers 3
Stacey Gibbs gave up only three runs on the mound as she helped the Masland Carpet Mystics earn a victory over the South Alabama Vending Sluggers, 6-3, on May 31.
Elisabeth Hendrix and Anushka Banks led the offense with two runs each. Gibbs and Courtney Patrick each scored one run.
Jaime Drew, Ashley Brazzell and Anna-Lisa McGhee scored for the Sluggers.
Drew pitched for the Sluggers.
