Mighty Macs earn dramatic win; Balers improve with two victories

The McDonald's Mighty Macs scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to score a one-run victory over the Brantley Tire Thoroughbreds, 10-9, on June 7.
Canausha Crenshaw and Morgan Helton led the Mac attack with two runs each. Megan Donald, Emily Vickrey, Leslie Cummings, Jordan Jaye, Taylor Byrd and Victoria Wilson also scored.
Sierra Redmond led the Thoroughbreds with two runs. Kay Leigh Miller, Micaela Norman, Victoria Mauldin, Minikai Smith, Tamekia Bogan, Amber McMillan and Carlie Broughton also scored.
Balers 15, Thoroughbreds 12
The Hendrix Tractor Balers were the second of two straight losses by the Brantley Tire Thoroughbreds, 15-12, on June 4.
Malori McGhee led the Balers with four runs. Tieka North scored three runs. Kaysie Malone and Leandra Corey scored two runs each. Kayla Gunn, Kristen Mathews, Victoria Searcy and Tabitha Steege also scored.
Leading the Thoroughbreds were Sierra Redmond and Soyong Smith with two runs each. Kay Liegh Miller, Michaela Norman, Emily Moore, Patsy Presley, Shaqnandia Gray, T. Ramer, Amber McMillan and Carlie Broughton also scored.
Magnolias 6, Mighty Macs 4
The First National Bank Magnolias earned a victory over the McDonald's Mighty Macs, 6-4, on June 4.
Leading the Magnolias was Courtney English with two runs. Tori Rodriquez, Ashleigh Taylor, Hannah McCullough and Amber Hubert also scored.
Canusha Crenshaw, Jordan Jaye, Lauren Kirkland and Ande Gideons each scored for the Mighty Macs.
Balers 14, Magnolias 10
The Hendrix Tractor Balers earned their second win of the week with a 14-10 victory over the First National Bank Magnolias on June 7.
Leandra Corey led the Baler offense with three runs. April Garvin, Malori McGhee, Tieka North and Kayla Gunn scored two runs each. Makeria Williams, Niki Bryan and Victoria Searcy also scored.
