Mrs. Leatha Ermine White Allen, 85, of Oklahoma City, Okla., died June 13, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
She was a native of Perdido and employed at Vanity Fair Hills in Atmore and Manor Slacks in Bay Minette where she retired in 1981. She then moved to Oklahoma to be near her son Jerry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred William and Amy Catherine White; her husband, Lonnie, and a brother, McLeod White.
Mrs. Allen is survived by two sons, Jerry Dale Allen and his wife, Jean M., of Oklahoma City, and Paul Brenston Allen and his wife, Linda K., of Flower Mound, Texas; two sisters: Susie Mae McCary of Atmore and Evie Dee Dove of Davisville; five brothers, Everette White of Perdido, Aubret White of Prattville, Preston White of Mobile, Curtis White of Valdosta, Ga., and Fred White of Brewton; six grandsons: Mark Allen, John Allen, Steven Allen, David Allen, Justin Allen and Michael Allen; three great-grandchildren, Kristin Allen, Jeffrey Allen, and Lauren Allen and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19 at 10 a.m., at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Allen, Bro. Aubret White and Bro. Fred White officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
