Warriors earn three wins

The United Bank Warriors have taken an early advantage in the major league city tournament with three wins, but face elimination themselves with one loss.
Warriors 21, Tigers 3
The Warriors defeated the Rotary Club Tigers, 21-3, in the first round of the tourney.
Guyel Martin led the Warriors with four runs. Dustin Hall and Laderiel Grant scored three runs each. Skyler Rolin, Rocky Ramiera, Mitchell Rolin and Jerry Timothy scored two runs each. Blake Wilson, Laketric Craft and Jerry Steege also scored.
Trent Freeman, Cameron Cobb and Corey Flowers scored for the Tigers.
Warriors 10, Cardinals 9
The Warriors earned their second win of the tourney by eliminating the Lions Club Cardinals, 10-9, on June 21.
Hall, Wilson and S. Rolin led the Warriors with two runs each. Craft, Mitchell Rolin and Jessie Everette also scored.
M.J. White and Cody Norton led the Cards with two runs each. Justin Rolin, Tyler Brown, Ryan Chason, Stephen Yoder and Jemorris Curry also scored.
Braves 13, Cardinals 12
The Atmore Insurance Braves are also in good shape with two victories in the tourney after a come-from-behind win against the Cardinals on June 19.
Anthony Mathews, Timothy Bright and Ben Hess led the Braves with three runs each. Jeremy George, Thomas Wolfe, Tristen Neal and Skyler Peacock also scored.
Brown and Chason led the Cards with three runs each. J. Rolin scored two runs. Norton, Jordan Hasting, Yoder and Curry also scored.
Braves 7, Athletics 5
The Braves picked up their second win against the First National Bank Athletics, 7-5, on June 23.
Skyler Peacock led the Braves with two runs. George, Mathew, Bright, Wolfe and Staples also scored.
Lawrence Thomas, Jonathan McNeil, Hunter Milliken, Ryan German and Josh Dorrierty scored for the A's.
Twins 10, Tigers 9
The Tigers made a valiant comeback, but came up short as the Church's Chicken Twins eliminated them from the tourney with a 10-9 victory on June 21.
Elliot Faircloth, Joe Drew and Justin Boykin led the Twins with two runs each. Matt McGhee, Ethan Brooks, Chris Greenwood and Dustin McGhee also scored.
Ben Nemeth, Mitchell Brown and Alex Hetzel led the Tigers with two runs each. Gordon Nichols, Corey Flowers and Cameron Cobb also scored.
Athletics 16, Warriors 5
The A's handed the Warriors their only loss of the tourney, 16-5, on June 19.
Blake Pearson, Lawrence Thomas and Jonathan McNeil led the A's with three runs each. Brent Bell, Cody Vickery and Ryan German scored two runs each. Demarcus Johnson also scored.
Dustin Hall led the Warriors with two runs. Guyel Martin, Rockie Ramiera and Mitchell Rolin also scored.
Cardinals 13, Twins 8
The Cardinals posted their only victory of the tournament over the Twins, 13-8, on June 18.
Brown and Norton led the Cards with three runs each. Rolin, Chason, Yoder, Hasting, Curry, Chris McLaughlin and White also scored.
Faircloth and Matt McGhee led the Twins with two runs each. Drew, Brooks, J. Boykin and D. McGhee also scored.
Warriors 18, Twins 8
The Warriors sent the Twins packing with an 18-8 victory.
Craft led the Warriors with four runs. Martin, B. Wilson, Ramiera and Steege scored three runs each. S. Rolin and Laderiel Grant also scored.
Matt McGhee and Cody Prosser led the Twins with two runs each. Kyle Chafin, D. McGhee and Blake Morgan also scored.
