Four promoted at Masland's Atmore plant

Four employees with Masland Carpets, Inc., a Dixie Group company, were recently given promotions at the Sturdy Plant in Atmore.
Dennis Daniel was promoted to assistant plant manager of the Sturdy Plant effective June 15. Daniel has over 20 years of service at Masland and has experience throughout the plant according to Masland officials. His promotion is expected to help streamline processes and communication.
Freddie Godwin has been named Masland's night shift plant superintendent. Godwin has been with Masland for over 30 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in carpet manufacturing and customer satisfaction, Masland officials said.
Charlie Brown was promoted to the position of final inspection shift leader. Brown has been a member of the Masland team for six years and has spent the past year in quality control.
Tim Ramer was recently promoted to assistant shift leader, final inspection. Ramer has worked with Masland for five years and has served as a final inspector for two years.
